COVID-19 Update (4/5/20)

This is a very difficult time for all of us. We want you to know we are here for you. We have taken extensive measures not only in cleaning our office, equipment, but limiting client numbers and rearranging our clinic for appropriate social distancing. There are now new health policies to provide a safe and clean environment to protect you, your family, and our staff.

Physical Therapy has been deemed essential by our governor. But, under the current pandemic, Clifton Park Physical Therapy thinks of our community as family. We plan to protect you at all costs. Therefore, we are asking patients to only attend treatment if it is a necessity to your health.

New Office Policies

  • Do not bring family members to your PT appointment. Leave them at home or in the car. This reduces reception area contact and the number of people in the office.
  • Treatments will be performed in treatment rooms and if exercises are being performed in the gym there will be the correct social distancing regulations in place.
  • We will not be accepting patients who present sick or are running a fever.
  • When entering our clinic each patient and staff member are required to wash your hands at the available sink or use the hand sanitizer supplied.
  • Masks will be offered for use during your treatment. They can be left behind to clean or purchased for $10 to take home with you, washed, and brought back for follow up sessions.
  • All doors are being propped open. Also know that we have applied nano cleaning sleeves to our doorknobs and push handles which are stated to fully eliminate bacteria and virus from their surface.

COVID-19 Telehealth Update

We are excited to be offering Telehealth for our patients. Due to the circumstances, almost all insurances are waiving co-pays and deductibles at a no cost to the patient. This is wonderful news! We can continue your care and treatment safely in your own home through Doxy-me. If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to contact the office and leave a message, we will return it as soon as possible. Be aware, Worker’s Compensation and No Fault insurances are currently not covering Telehealth. This is a dynamic situation and that should be coming!

At this time, new patient evaluation‘s are only covered by one insurance, but this is also changing daily. We are scheduling new evaluations through telehealth cash based at $50 if you are in pain or need services that cannot wait. Follow up visits will be $36 and you will remain cashed based throughout your treatment for that diagnosis.

We will continue to follow the current mandate to remain closed until April 6th. At that time we plan to jump in with our new health regulations to keep everyone safe. We have been working extensively to provide a virus free environment including nano-technology to rid all our door handles from viruses and bacteria, and limit patient interactions maintaining the 6ft rule. We can’t wait to see those in the community who need our services!.
